Mahmutlar – this area is distinguished by its peculiar picturesqueness, many attractions, a wealth of natural objects such as meadows, mountains and forests. The area is very nice and cozy.
Since the resort (in comparison with others) is far from the airport, the prices are lower here. Mahmutlar hotels offer higher service for the same money than in other cities of Alanya.
Mahmutlar is located 140 km from Antalya airport and until recently it was the only way to get from Russia.
But now Gazipasa airport has been built 30 km away and it has become more convenient to fly in time. Unfortunately, there are few flights from Moscow, mainly charters, which are allowed in the high season. But there are plenty of domestic flights, only from Istanbul there are 5-6 of them per day.
How to get Mahmutlar

From Antalya Airport to Mahmutlar
From Antalya airport to Mahmutlar go 2.5 hours by taxi and four hours by bus. The last option is suitable only for budget holiday lovers, as it involves two transfers. From the airport take bus 600, it will take you to the Otogar bus station. There, change to a bus to Alanya and upon arrival, change to dolmush directly to the resort.
Get there in the opposite direction
Getting in the opposite direction is also not difficult – buses leave from three parallel streets: along the sea along Kargigak, from Barbaros Avenue past the Happy Elegant Hotel and along Ataturk. You can stop dolmush anywhere along the route, the fare costs 3 lira within the city and 4 to Alanya.
The Alanya-Antalya high-speed train is planned to open soon, so the trip between these cities will be less than half an hour.
